I am a portrait photographer who loves everything about being a woman - the beauty, the strength, the joys and yes, even the pain and struggle. As women, we tend to focus on everything and everyone else around us…our partners, our children, our parents, our jobs, our homes, the dog, the fish, dinner (you get it) but we rarely focus on OURSELVES. Well not here!! At AMR, I want to celebrate YOU! My sessions focus on YOU first! Whether it's a family session or a boudoir session, I want to celebrate you, not only as a mother but as a woman.

As a young mommy, I never focused on myself, honestly I didn’t really know how to. Looking back over years of pictures, I was rarely in them. When I talk to other mothers, I hear a similar story. And not only are mothers often missing from their family's photos but these strong, amazing women didn’t really want their picture taken because they didn’t feel beautiful. All these capable, caring women didn’t feel worthy to exist in pictures with their children. 

I decided I wanted to change this narrative for women, starting with myself. After years of dabbling in photography, I felt I could help these women feel beautiful in their authentic, perfectly imperfect lives. So I set out on becoming a better listener, observer, and photographer.

My life and my studio are LGBQTIA+ friendly. I strive to make my clients feel seen, heard, safe, loved, special and unique through their portraits: family, motherhood, boudoir, branding. Together we will help you show off your Brave Beautiful Self.
